Our approach to corrections
Medicine.info.bd aims to provide useful and accurately structured medicine reference information. Because medicine information and product data can change, records may require correction or updating over time.
When a potential error is identified, we aim to review the relevant record and supporting information before making an appropriate correction.
What can be reported
Users may report potential problems such as an incorrect medicine name, generic ingredient, strength, dosage form, manufacturer, classification, price information or other factual information displayed on the website.
Reports concerning outdated information, broken pages or incorrectly linked records are also useful.
How corrections are reviewed
A reported issue may be compared with available source material and other appropriate reference information. Where a correction can be reasonably verified, the relevant database record or website content may be updated.
Some reports may require additional verification before a change can be made.
Updates to medicine information
Manufacturers, products, prices, formulations and medicine information may change. Medicine.info.bd may periodically update or reorganise information as newer data becomes available.
The date on which information was collected or updated does not necessarily represent the date of the latest official prescribing or regulatory information.
Reporting an issue
If you identify information that appears incorrect or outdated, please use our Contact page and include the medicine or page involved, the information you believe is incorrect and, where possible, a reliable source that supports the correction.
Please do not submit confidential medical records, personal health information or other sensitive personal information when reporting a correction.
